A little about me.

Heylo. I'm Rashidah Bte Adam. Commonly known as Shid, Shidah and sometimes Idah. Though honestly I prefer to be called Shid.
I'm a student of Nanyang Polytechnic-School of Business Management and I'm going to be 18 this year.
I was born on April 8th 1987, which makes me a proud Aries. I'm actually quite a shy girl, but most people would laugh to my face if I were to tell them that.
Apparently, they say that I'm anything, but shy. Weird, huh?

I aspire to be a journalist, but I ended up in Business Management instead of a Mass Communications course, which is quite good actually. For this is where I can hone my skills in business, when I open a business of my own in the future.

Interests

Music
I absolutely adore rock and roll, hip hop music, rhythm and blues(r n b), and simple good old fashion music. But give me techno or dance or trance music, and I will absolutely die. Unless, it is for some cheap thrill.

Sweets and Chocolates
What can I say? I just swear by them.

Books
I just love any good reads. Books written by Paul Coelho, Nicholas Sparks and John Grisham are absolute favourites. My favourite book is Tempting Faith DiNapoli by Lisa Gabrielle.

Photography
I just love taking photos. Candid shots of people are the best. I also love taking photos of myself. I happen to be photogenic. Just ask my friends. Their handphones are filled with pictures of me.

Family

In my family, there's five of us. My mother, my father, my elder sister, my younger sister and of course, ME.
My mother is the one who ties the whole family up together. I don't know where I'll be without her in the family. I'm grateful for her being there for me whenever I need her. She is the driving force behind my successes. It is because of her that I am where I am today. A housewife by nature.
My father is like the silent killer in the family. He doesn't talk much but when he does talk, it would be packed with words of wisdom and weird analogies that will leave you thinking deep and hard. A chauffeur by profession.
My elder sister is the one that I always argue with. It's like a power struggle with her around, because both of us are strong-headed. But I love her all the same and she's the one I share most of my secrets with. An aspiring teacher, she's now in National Institute of Education.
My younger sister. The one I dote on, because she is the most gullible and vulnerable. Appears to be most decent, but wait till she decide to show her claws. Even a tigress would be scared of her. Currently a Pri 4 student (lucky her).
Me. Simple and interesting. The one whom both sisters will bully and get away with it. What can I say? I'm just too nice.
Together, we are The Adam Family. But, even The Addams Family would be afraid of us. Because united we stand, together we fall. Does it make sense? I hope so.
